Guess what?
I'm no longer in the Todd McFarlane business.
I wish Mr. McFarlane well in all his future endeavors.

Congratulations! This must have been a huge decision. Know that there are many, many Beanworld fans out there just waiting for new material. Best in all your future Bean and unBean projects.

ReplyDeleteWonderful! Congratulations on your new freedom. For years Beanworld has been the first comic I think of whenever I think of comics that I miss... I can't wait to read more of it! I gotta re-read my back issues. Best of luck with whatever you have up your sleeve, Larry.

You know, I wish I could say something really significant, but honestly the first thing out of my brain was "Finally! He can get back to Beanworld." That's right, I only care about myself.
ReplyDeleteI think all these years, I've been blaming Todd and your position with his company for the lack of Beans. Now perhaps after doing the daily grind of such a large position, I should thank him? Having done both working for others and working for myself, I know which one is far more satisfying, and hope you find the satisfacation YOU are looking for.
And here's to more Beanworld!
/checks Acella prices... Baltimore's just eight hours away... hmmm
Hoka hey! Congratulations! It's been too long in coming, for those of us sadly languishing in a lack of Beanworld for the last decade or so.
ReplyDeleteIs it too early to ask if you're going to be releasing new material online, or just going straight to trades?
Holy Frijoles! What prompted such a jump? May it be good for you & Cory!
ReplyDeleteFrom those of us who like comics, YAY!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog recently, and after lately lamenting the lack of the Beanworld in my life, I am so very excited, to say the least.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Larry! Looking forward to seeing what happens NEXT!
