Tuesday's Tantalizing Teaser

My good friend, Jason Gonzalez, seems to have gone time traveling and found this strangely familiar looking vegetable can label.

Not sure if it's from the past or the future.

But it reminds me that I still haven't told the "Secret Origin of the Legend of Pop! Pop! Pop!" that I keep promising to tell.

As soon as I finish the History of the Beanworld Action Figure, I'll try to get around to it!

Hey, what is that thing to the right of Proffy in the panel, at the horizon? And what is that on top of the Cutie's head?

I bet you miss answering the numbered questions in the letter columns, eh? Sorry, I can't help it. Maybe I just have bad eyes...

That's awesome.

This label inspired in me some odd late night activity, the fruit of which I have placed on my Beanworld page.

I make no apology for the result, but instead remind you of Morsel DuChomp's famous words, "The eater makes the meal."

This has nothing to do with today's teaser, but here goes.

A few nights ago, I was watching Pixar's Bug's Life for the billionth time with my (almost) 4-year old daughter (who is referred to in my online life as "Baby Bean") and had my mind blown by something.

In the opening sequence, where the "camera" zooms to Ant Island, I noticed that the island is much higher on the left side than the right, and I immediately thought, "That's the legendary Edge!" That's when the sole ancient tree in the center of the island's resemblance to Gran'ma'pa hit me as well. The whole rest of the movie had me making other mental comparisons as well. Flik was Proffy. Seeds were chow. I could go on and on.

Thoughts?
