WONDERCON 09

WONDERCON
Feb 27 - March 1

I'll be in Artist's Alley at Wondercon. This will be my first time returning to Artist's Alley in a very long time. It's going to be fun going back to my roots.

I'll be at table/ booth AA 060.
I'm listed as "Beanworld Press."
I'll tell you more about what I'll have there as we get closer to the dates.

Beanworld Signing

Friday, FEBRUARY 27
5-6 pm
Dark Horse Booth

I'll be putting my signature on the new signing plate featuring the above image--the cover illo to "A Gift Comes!" This is the hardcover that will go on sale in the summer.

Beanworld Panel
Friday, FEBRUARY 27
6:30-7:30 pm
ROOM 236/238

Larry Marder: The Beanworld Is Back! Legendary Beanworld creator, Larry Marder, is front and center in his first solo WonderCon panel ever! Learn how beans have been part of Marder's life since the day he was born!
The rich visual presentation covers the entire history of his peculiar fantasy dimension including Marder's many influences.
This is your opportunity to discover why Beanworld has captivated readers from grade school to grad school since its first publication as a series of comic books in the 1980s.
Now Beanworld is at Dark Horse Comics entertaining an entire new generation of fans. Hear all the details about Marder's many up-coming Beanworld projects including a first glimpse at his original Beanworld graphic novel on sale this fall!

This is an up-dated version of the presentation I gave last year at Stumptown and ComicCon. I'll be talking about "Remember Here When You Are There!" Hopefully someone will get this recorded this time!

I might also be doing another Dark Horse signing on Sunday. And I'll certainly be doing something with CBLDF too.

I won't be at NYCC this week end but CBLDF still has Beanworld Orphans available for adoption in exchange for a donation to the Fund.

Love this cover, Larry. Everything's working with and popping off that golden background. Looks like Springtime in Beanworld.
